Today was a class orientation. Vaxjo University expects each student to get about 8-12 hours of lecture a week per class. We have the rest of the week to do papers, read, & do research. Today was an orientation for all classes under social work (I have 3 social work classes & 1 in Swedish language). They gave us hot tea, coffee, & sandwiches (which were really a bun with cheese & a cucumber slice). We got a tour of the library. I went to the grocery store with a friend. I got sooo much food & necessities. It's about time I start to cook good food again! No more crackers & fruit for supper. It costs 5SEK (77 cents) to get a pushing cart! My arms were very tired! I did accidentally almost eat a whole roll of double chocolate chip cookies tonight. Woops...I haven't had access to chocolate in quite a long time!!! Tomorrow real class starts. The class will be the typical 10-4 schedule with a lunch break. That's about twice a week.
Enjoy the weather your having! I hear it's quite nice back at home (NOT)!!!

Well it just wasn't the same at church yesterday without you. Just to let you know I think your parents are going to survive :) Sounds like you have had some adjustments to make. I really didn't like the idea of you sleeping under your coat. I am praying for some thick soft blankets to come your way. Thanks for the pics (although they made me feel cold) Keep smilin --T

Hey Chrisy,
Good luck with your classes tomorrow. We got a raise at work....like we're talking 15 cents of a raise. WOW!! Anyway, I am going to work a few extra hours a week to pay for a ticket to visit you. I can't wait!
