It rained for only half the day today!
I was mistaken about ficka. Ficka is the act of eating &/or drinking with a friend in between meals. So it's basically an adult snack time.
I went to my friends house. She had never used a curling iron, yet she bought one a while ago. So I did her hair! When I came to Sweden my hair was straight. But after I washed my hair again it went back curly. People keep asking me what hair salon I went to here. A few Swedes think I'm Spanish!
Tonight the international group held a dinner for the new international students & our "buddies". Buddies are those that volunteered to help us fit in & show us around. The dinner was some kind of salmon roll, bread, pork, some kind of carrot potato layered pot pie, and gravy. It was very good. Drinks were "buy your own" because most people wanted alcohol. Every country was able to do some kind of performance from thier country if they wanted. The USA & Canada sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". Afterwards there was a party where we mixed & mingled.

Love and Miss You,

Hey Christina,
Just wanted to drop ya a line. We went ice-fishing on MaryJane's pond this pm. We took home 50 decent sized blue-gill. Drake cried like a baby, well not that bad, when a fish flipped off and the hook cut his hand as it whizzed past. (He was still talkin about it this eve.) The fishing was great until Ashlynn and Alexa got there, coincidence? Maybe. About quitting time, Kode and Ky were fooling around, your dad looked over and sort of laughed at what he thought was Ky falling down on the slick surface. We all looked over to see Kode helping Ky out of one of the holes! He went in up to his hip, boot full of water and wet sock...he was ready to go home. Alot of fun. Sounds like all is well. Take care of yourself,
unka mike.
