Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My interent has been acting up. And I have been writing 3 reports & one presentation.
My friend & I are also planning a trip to Poland March 6-9. The plans for the trip to Russia are being put into action. That can be a long process. All tourists have to buy a visa to visit. They pretty much rip off Americans! That trip is in April.
I went with a church again to hand out free coffey in town last night. There were 8 of us, 2 of which were Swedish speaking. That made it kind of hard. But there are always those Swedes who like to practice thier English, and then those that want to avoid it. Usually, someone would ask where we all were from. The initial reaction to "the US" is "oh, COOL!". Then come all kinds of questions! I try to avoid the political questions because sadly enough they usually know more than i do!!!
I made American pizza again tonight. Lots of people came! This time, I found canned mushrooms, but I couldn't find pizza sauce. So, I had to make it. Even though I don't know how to make pizza sauce, it turned out pretty good. Then I made brownies for dessert, with ice cream of course. These both were new for some Swedes. But they say the brownies are similar to a cake they have here.
It's still so rainy here. I can't wait for good weather.
Biking is getting easier! The hills don't seem so big anymore. I feel so in shape!!!
