Sweeney's in Sweden!

I have been sick. So the past day or two has been full of sleeping!
I went to the Culture Medley last night. It's where every country that wants to can get a team together, & do what else than MAKE FOOD? America/Canada (they always claim they are better than the US, yet they always want to be on our team in everything ;) ) made pancakes & apple pie with ice cream. They were both made from boxes. One of the American girls's parents just arrived to visit her, and they were able to bring a lot of the groceries (some of thier in-laws turned out to be from Charleston!!!). That saved a lot of money! The apple pie was the hit of the night. We totally ran out of everything. I was able to try Japan's sushi, Lithuania's carmel dessert (like a less greasy funnel cake) & pot pie "cupcake", Turkey's spinach cake & chocolate nut cake (like sheet cake), & England's fish & chips. They were all very good.
John is leaving tonight to come visit me! We are going to Barcelona, Spain. Ashlyn packed a suitcase of spring clothes for me & sent it with him! We plan to see lots of stuff, shop a little, & visit the beach just to say we did. I don't think it will be warm enough to get in the water. I have been warned repeatedly about pick pocketers. But those who have seen a picture of John say I will have nothing to worry about because he's much bigger than the Spanish! haha No, we will be very careful. We are staying in a hostel. I will be in a room with 11 other girls, and he will be in a room with 13 other people. We will get back to Vaxjo late Easter night, where he will stay with Adam. If we have internet access, we will try to post a few times before we get back.
