Easter Sunday

John & I packed up Easter morning, & left with 2 others that were going to the same airport as us. John had been up since 5, because that's when the drunks came in & started snoring. So he was ready to go! We thoguht going with the 2 girls was a good idea because one was from Mexico & spoke Spanish fluently. THe other was from Texas. John's suitcase wheel froze up right after leaving the hostel, so it was hard to pull it. He ended up carrying it most of the way! We got on the train to go to the airport. 40 minutes later we realized we were going the opposite way. So we managed to get back, find a taxi, & rush to our flights. John & I were early to begin with. But the our flight was delayed 1 hour 40 minutes. After that flight, we got on another in Stuttgart, Germany that was 35 minutes delayed. It brought us to Copenhagen. Then we waited for our train for about an hour. Luckily, we found out early that our direct trip to Vaxjo was cancelled. We had to switch in Malmo. My new suitcase made it wonderfully through this whole trip! The weather was freezing here! It was snowing like crazy, & still is. Vaxjo expects 14 inches of snow this week. I had flip flops on last night!!! When we got here 2 of my friends picked us up, and took us to our places. John is staying with Adam.
We really missed family on Easter. John & I read the Easter story together on the flight from Germany. We read the Good Friday story together Friday night. Other than that, we had lunch sandwiches, all day long. One of which was a raw bacon sandwich. EW! John managed to gag that down, but it was hard. We got tiny cans of Coke on our flight. John says "it's like drinking out of a thimble". Sure missed home cooking!
