Sweeney's in Sweden!

We went to another museum today that had information on Smaland (Vaxjo's "county"). After you pay to get in you get a blue sticker to put on your shirt showing you paid. The lady was joking around and said "O.k. put these stickers on your forehead." Jerry, Jill, Christina, Ashlyn, and myself put our stickers on our shirts. Well, when Grandma paid and got her sticker she held her sticker to her forehead and questioned the lady "We really need to put these on our forheads? Can I just put mine on my hand?" The lady looked suprised and said "You can put your sticker on your shirt. I was just joking about putting it on your forehead." Grandma looked confused, looked at us, then put her sticker on her shirt. Jerry finally broke down and we ate real food today! We ate at a Swedish buffet. We had a thick bacon-type meat with potatoes, salad, rice, brown-mushroom gravy, white-onion gravy, and bread with a Swedish berry jam. Christina also showed us the cathedral in Vaxjo. we were all standing at the front door of the church and Jerry said "hey everyone, if you look towards the steeple, it looks like the church is falling over because of the clouds moving." Grandma looked up and about fell over and said "whoooooaaaaa." Ashton made the comment "Oh, Grandma needs her ear-patch!" (Grandma uses these ear-patch things to help her motion sickness). Jerry says they are her placebo for motion sickness. We walked around the outside of the church and Jerry noticed a baby bird. "Hey Ashton, come look at this bird, something's wrong with it." so I (Ashton) walk closer to the baby bird....as I was doing so the big mom bird swooped down and started chasing me. (This is the same type of bird that pooped on christina's head). I screamed and ran around while everyone just watched me run arounnd like an idiot. We went shopping in Vaxjo Centrum today. We all bought a piece of Swedish glass. Tonight Christina is going to make us a Swedish dessert with Swedish strawberries. (No John, it is not Pineapple-puke suprise!).
