Today we walked through the Botanical Gardens to the Staten's Museum. It was a bunch of art (yay...HA). We saw Picasso, Matisse, Rembrant, & Munch art.
We went on an open top boat tour that took us down the canal to see some highlights.
We walked around the outside of the Christianson's Palace. It was the older castle until it caught on fire & had to be rebuilt.
Then we went to the National Museum. Dad REALLY loved it. We thought long & hard about renting a 10 Dannish Kronor locker for our purses. They wouldn't allow us to take our purses in. A security guard started stalking us to get us out of there at closing time. When we left, we got our 10 Dannish Kronor back!!!
Dad tried to stay in the National Museum as long as possible in hopes that the shops would close. TOO BAD! We got to shop. Ashlyn & I got him Dannish hand made chocolate for Father's Day though. I think that made him happy.
