Some land that Russia owns used to be owned by Finland. This is one of Finland's old cemeteries on the land that Russia now owns. This cemetery was abandoned. Russians took metal detectors & took anything they could from the bodies that had been buried! Then, they built a road over it because it was the convenient place. Now the forest is taking the cemetery over. Apparently, Finland & Russia were at war at least 3 times during the 1900's.
