Mariah's Palace on the main square. There are WAY too many palaces in St. Petersburg.
A Cathedral built with a queen in mind who wasn't satisfied. I can't imagine!!! So they had to add side buildings to it.
Church of the Spilled Blood. It is really beautiful. Russians love color & gold. Even thier cemeteries are full of color.
Although this is a backroad, it gives you an idea of what the roads looked like. The cars are always filthy. Going from Finland's roads to Russia's roads wasn't fun.
