This is the steple alone from a church that burnt down in the olden days (around 16 or 1700's) Sorry it's sideways...
The Vasa ship sunk in 1628 when going from Sweden to Poland. In 1961, 333, years later, it was brought back to shore, preserved, & is now in a museum. It was fascinating.
These pictures are dark, but I hope you get an idea how beautiful & large it is. The woodwork is VERY intricate.
Me & the city.
Where the Vasa is. This building goes as tall as the Vasa, plus the Vasa is somewhat in a basement too.
There was a golden room in the City Hall totally made out of gold. It had pictures of previous royalty. This is for Queen Christina. (remember that when I get home, Nathan! haha)
There was a Blood Bath a long time ago. The king decided to behead all the noble people right here in this square.
The streets are so narrow. The smallest is 60 cm.
An old home in Sweden. It was much more developed than the Americans had (comparing to Lincoln Log). They had access to windows, ceramic fireplaces, and usually had at least 2 large rooms.
City Hall. It is 80 years old. Here there are city council meetings, weddings, & Nobel Peace Reception. The desinger made it to look very ancient.
The Knight's Church.
The Knight's Palace.
"The Big Church" as it is literally translated. The organ sounded awesome. It is very beautiful. This is where the royalty get married.
The changing of the guards at the other Palace.

Love the pictures (of course!) Where did you get that beautiful red bag?!? I've been wondering if you were able to fit enough in it. Looks like fun!!
